College Search Advice:
Do not be afraid to let people down. You should go where you want to go.
A Favorite Allegheny Memory:
I was going out of town for a golf tournament and I was going to miss class. There was an exam two days after the class so I approached my professor the following day during office hours and she reexplained the lesson to me for 45 minutes and made sure I would do well on the exam.
Favorite Place On Campus:
McKinley’s
Research:
I received an internship in South Dakota conducting research on Bioenergy. And I am going to be working with Dr. Humphreys this semester trying to defend if a bacteria creates a biofilm.
Why I Chose Allegheny:
On my tour I felt like this was the school for me. The school has a great science program and a high medical school acceptance rate. I enjoyed my visit and interactions with my counselor and tour guide as well. Allegheny was just the answer for my college search.
