College Search Advice:
Don’t set your mind to one detail. Make sure to keep an open mind and look at all different types of schools. Allegheny was the only small liberal arts school I applied to, and I didn’t plan on attending until I stayed overnight. I wish I would have been more open-minded about the whole college experience.

A Favorite Allegheny Memory:
For two credits, I took a 500 level course to teach Spanish at a local elementary school. I worked closely with Professor Herrera and Neason Hill Elementary School to prepare lesson plans and class activities. Not only did the Allegheny faculty want me to get involved but they helped me to make it happen. I feel that the close relationships between staff and students are what make Allegheny special and unique.

Favorite Place On Campus:
Outside of Quigley Hall

Why I Chose Allegheny:
I heard of Allegheny through my parents, but I chose this school for many different reasons. I love the small size of the school and the beautiful campus. Also, the school offers Spanish as a major.
