Past Event: “Race To Nowhere”

Film Screening at the Vukovich Center for Communication Arts

On March 29, 2011, counselors were invited to Allegheny by students and faculty for a special on-campus screening of the critically acclaimed documentary, Race to Nowhere. A lunch discussion with students followed the film.

From their site: “Race to Nowhere is a call to mobilize families, educators, and policy makers to challenge current assumptions on how to best prepare the youth of America to become healthy, bright, contributing and leading citizens.” To find out more, visit their website.

Allegheny was proud to offer this admission-free event, which was open to the public.
