College Search Advice:
When you’re at the point in your life when you’re applying to college, you are truly the only one that knows what is best. I needed someone to tell me that it’s my future and my future is what I decide it will be.

A Favorite Allegheny Memory:
This past summer, I went on an EL Seminar. This was an interdisciplinary trip, so we had students from all disciplines attend. We studied a variety of subjects that correlates to the “Unusual Combinations” that Allegheny promotes. This seminar also allowed for me to strengthen the relationship I had with my two professors. Now, I can confidently say that I have two wonderful professors that would gladly help me in any facet of my life. I feel that this experience really encompasses the Allegheny experience.

Favorite Place On Campus:
The Rustic Bridge

Why I Chose Allegheny:
I chose Allegheny for a few reasons. First, when I visited, I felt a great sense of community. I felt like the people here knew each other really well and felt comfortable with a variety of groups around campus. Second, I felt that the student/professor relationship was something that set Allegheny a part from the rest of the schools I applied to. I had listened to many great stories of times when professors really went the extra mile to help out their students. Finally, in addition to all of the extracurricular activities that exist, the academics are outstanding and have a really good reputation.
