A Favorite Allegheny Memory:
The first paper I turned in my freshman year I received a C on. I’ve never been a C student in my entire academic career. I went to my professor and he sat with me for three hours and went over every inch of the paper and helped me understand what I did wrong and how to improve. The next paper I turned in for that class I received an A on. Professors are willing to do anything in order to help students understand difficult material or what they are doing wrong.
Favorite Place On Campus:
The Campus Center
Why I Came to Allegheny:
I chose Allegheny because I knew it would help me expand my horizons. Everyone I met on campus was down to earth and very welcoming. I knew I could make solid connections with not only students, but also professors.
