Thank you so much for your support of my science career. I am writing to express my sincere gratitude; I feel honored to receive your support.
I am a junior majoring in physics with minors in chemistry and studio art. I used to be a double major in physics and chemistry, then later I found out that they are almost the same thing. I chose physics because I want to learn more about why the world happens in certain ways.
Originally from GuangZhou China, I moved to the United States and became an American. At Allegheny, I am the president of Chess Club; playing chess once a week is a relaxing thing to me.
I am interested in becoming a doctor in the United States. The financial assistance you have provided will be a great help to me in paying my educational expenses, and will give me a better chance to focus on studying and achieving my dream. Thank you again for your generosity and support. I will become someone who can make a difference in the world and help the people around me to have a better quality of life.
