Homecoming Golden Gator Welcome Celebration (RSVP)
6–8 p.m., Firehouse Tap & Grille (formerly Mickey’s), 875 Park Avenue
All Allegheny women’s soccer alumni, Hall of Famers, former coaches, and Golden Gator Club members are welcome to join the Allegheny Department of Athletics to a welcome celebration to kick off Homecoming weekend. The event is free for the 2016 induction class as well as their immediate family members, former Hall of Fame Inductees and Committee Members, Captain Sponsors ($250+) for the Golden Gator Club, former coaches of the 2016 inductees, and staff. Children under 12 also are free. The cost per guest is $25, which includes dinner, two drink tickets and the raffle.

Sunday, October 2

Swimming and Diving 5-Mile Run/Walk Race (RSVP)

Location: Giant Eagle & Ernst Trail, 18511 Smock Highway, Meadville, PA
Get some exercise and fresh air while supporting the Allegheny Swimming and Diving team! The 5-mile race is a run, along with an optional walking component. The event will provide a fun opportunity for running enthusiasts and casual participants alike. We invite runners of all ages—adults and children—to participate, since we will be adding a 1-mile race specifically designed for children 12 and under this year. The run/walk will be held on the Ernst Trail, a flat, blacktop trail that winds through Meadville. Participants will be shuttled by bus from the Giant Eagle parking lot to the starting line at Krider Road.
