Friday, October 17

Patricia Bush Tippie Alumni Center at Cochran Hall Open for Alumni

The Loop will be available to Homecoming guests. Let the driver know when you board if you wish to be dropped off at Meadville hotels.
4 p.m. – 2:30 a.m.

Bicentennial Plaza Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
4 p.m., Bicentennial Plaza (near Schultz Hall, formerly South Hall)
The Allegheny College community will come together to officially open the new Bicentennial Plaza and History Walkway, which celebrate the College’s first 200 years. The plaza will be a versatile space that can be used for any number of activities, including talks, plays, concerts, and other special events, including Commencement. The Class of 2015 will be the first class to graduate from the Bicentennial Plaza. Lining the walkways from Bentley Hall to the new Bicentennial Plaza will be a gift from the Class of 1965: 40 cast-bronze plaques (17 inches square) that celebrate Allegheny’s rich history. Graduates for generations to come will walk these paths to the Bicentennial Plaza to receive their degrees as they get ready to go out into the world and live their ideals in powerful ways.

Swimming and Diving Practice Open House
4:30 – 6:45 p.m., Mellon Pool, Wise Center
Swimming and Diving practice will be open for alumni to drop in and meet the coaches and team.

Saturday, October 18

Open House for Prospective Students

This year’s class includes: Kelley Anderson ’04, Women’s Diving; Kevin Davidson ’00, Baseball; John Hreha ’03, Men’s Diving; John Jones ’79, Men’s Golf; Vicki Kadjer ’04, Women’s Volleyball; and Allison Pyewell Nichols ’99, Women’s Soccer.
