Campus Events & Meetings
Events listed in this area are planned by organizations outside of the CIASS but contribute toward the goals of the CIASS and Office of Institutional Diversity, Equity, and Access. This calendar is managed by student organizations who have an expressed interest in contributing to fostering an inclusive environment at Allegheny College. Event Highlights
- April 3rd- Residence Hall Association in the Campus Center lobby from 8 to 10 p.m. tonight for a variety of carnival activities and treats, including pie-eating contests, sumo wrestling, cotton candy, popcorn, face-painting, tattoos, ladder ball, and corn hole.
- April 3rd-4th- Blood Drive. Schultz Banquet Hall. There will be free pizza and snacks.
- April 6th- Allegheny Regional Film Festival. Programming begins at 3 p.m. The screening of the films will begin at 7 p.m. All events will take place in the Vukovich Center for Communication Arts and are open to the public. Any questions can be directed to actv@allegheny.edu.
- April 10th- ASA and IAS co-sponsoring a talk/discussion by Professor Hardin, CC301/302 – (12:00pm – 1:15pm). picture presentation along with talk about her expertise and experiences with Islam in Senegal. Lunch will be provided!
- April 12th- Annual GAP Murder Mystery Dinner, Schultz Banquet Hall – 5 p.m. Tickets are being sold for $5 in the box office during lunch all this week and next.
- April 15th- QnA Ally week! Chalk the walk!
- April 14th- QnA Annual Drag fashion show
- April 16th- QnA Ally Picnic
- April 6th- Sushi night, CC lobby – (10:00pm). Hosted by a5 as part of the Celebrate Asia Month 2013!
- April 8th- Henna night, CC303 -(8:00pm). Hosted by a5 as part of the Celebrate Asia Month 2013!
- April 13th- Court badminton tournament, Wise center – (6:00pm). Hosted by a5 as part of the Celebrate Asia Month 2013!
- April 17th- “An Innocent Abroad: Seven weeks in Nanjing” Lunch lecture with Prof. Schindler, CC 301 – Noon. Hosted by a5 as part of the Celebrate Asia Month 2013!
- April 24th- Tang Soo Do, Montgomery Gym – (7:00pm). Hosted by a5 as part of the Celebrate Asia Month 2013!
- April 27th- Activism Workshop, Arter Theater – (2:00pm). Hosted by a5 as part of the Celebrate Asia Month 2013!
