User Services
User Services is the front door to LITS Computing Services providing front-line support for computers, printers, technology classrooms, and general technology questions.
James Fadden, Director
Team member since: 2000
James started at the College working with faculty of the social sciences in the summer of 2000. He became director of the User Services group in the summer of 2007. As director he works with a talented team of technology professionals to support desktop computing needs, technology currency and technology training.
Tim Healy, Technology Manager
Team member since: 1992
Tim worked for many years as a PC technician before moving into his current role a Technology Manager. In his current role, he applies his experience and expertise making sure that desktop technology is deployed and working across campus. He provides leadership to the User Services staff for all issues regarding hardware troubleshooting and maintence. Tim also serves as the liaison to various technology vendors and consults on a variety of hardware purchases.
Andrew McMillin, User Support Specialist

Drew is a 2008 graduate of Mercyhurst College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts by majoring in Business, Computers and Information Technology. Drew’s main responsibilities include front-line user support, being the lead resource for software questions, and works with the Technology Manager with computer configuration and testing. Drew also supervises the student workforce for Computing Services.
Phil Reinhart, User Support Specialist and Resnet Technican

Phil is a versital employee who has served the college in a variety of roles including computer technician and Help Desk manager. In the summer of 2007 he reinvented himself when he became responsible for the residence hall network. He provides frontline support and assists with the student work force and is a vital part of the User Services team.
Doug Varee, User Support Specialist, Classroom Lead

Doug orginially joined the User Services group in the Fall of 2007 as a User Support Specialist and has worn many hats since then. He now leads our efforts with classroom technology. Doug comes to us from the K-12 sector with experience supporting technology at the district and Intermediate Unit levels.
David Wagner, System Administrator
Team member since: 2008
David joined the User Services Group when he returned to Allegheny as the System Administrator for the Computer Science program. David’s User Services responsibilities include managing network-based tools that support the desktops including our remote deployment system.
