Active Aging, Inc.

Elise is from West Seneca, NY. She is a sophomore at Allegheny College and is a double major in International Studies and Environmental Studies with a minor in Spanish. She has volunteered at The Vines organic farm, participated in Market House events, and familiarized herself with the community she is now part of. Elise has also volunteered at Grounds For Change and the American Red Cross. Elise is very active in political movements and activities on campus, such as College Democrats and Model United Nations.

Elise’s project at Active Aging, Inc. this semester involves mobilizing other college students to support the work of the senior center. From the Veterans Day salute to Octoberfest to service-learning classes, Elise’s work in mobilizing students and program assessment will help college students expand the work of the center while measuring their learning in the process.
