Crystal Stone ’15 Is Top Three Finalist for ACTLA Tutor Scholarship

Writing consultant Crystal Stone ’15 was a Top Three finalist for the Association of Colleges for Tutoring and Learning Assistance (ACTLA) Tutor Scholarship. In addition, Crystal attended the Sigma Tau Delta 2014 International Convention in Savannah, Georgia, where she was elected as the student representative for the Eastern region for 2014-2015. She also had her poetry “Cultural and Personal” published in the Sigma Tau Delta Rectangle, an annual journal of creative writing published each April. Crystal also presented “The Immortal and Demon Eye: The Evolution of the Gaze in Lewis Nordan’s Wolf Whistle” at the University of St. Francis Undergraduate Conference on English Language and Literature in Joliet, Illinois on March 15.
