I was a curatorial intern at the National Museum of the United States Navy and truly enjoyed my experience.  I did a great deal of research on different aspects of naval history such as the involvement of women in the Navy, anti-submarine warfare during WWI, and I also focused on the Spanish-American War and its importance in military history.  After I finished my summer in D.C., I packed up my bags once again and I am currently studying abroad in Seville, Spain!  I have been here for a little over a week and just started my classes yesterday. Seville is really beautiful and my Spanish skills have already improved a lot; so I look forward to spending the next few months here.
