Allegheny College, a member of the NCAA Division III and North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC), is currently seeking applications to fill an Assistant Football/Run Game or Recruiting Coordinator Coaching position. This is a full-time, twelve-month appointment with a comprehensive benefits package. A Bachelor’s degree is required; however a Master’s degree is preferred. The Assistant Football Coach is responsible for assisting the head coach with all aspects of the program. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist head coach with the organization and direction of a competitive football program as well as coaching their assigned position. Specific responsibilities include identification and recruitment of athletically and academically qualified student-athletes; regular practice sessions and game preparation; and assisting with overseeing the administrative process for team travel, program budgets, public/alumni relations and promoting the philosophy and objectives of the Department of Athletics and Recreation. The ideal candidates will have previous college coaching experience as a run game or recruiting coordinator. The candidate must have an understanding of the DIII philosophy and its role at a private liberal arts institution. They must also possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, communicate effectively (verbal and written), have the ability to multi-task and operate within an extremely motivated, team oriented atmosphere. Additional responsibilities will be assigned by the Director of Athletics and Recreation.
