Happy Year of the Dragon! In celebration of the new year, the Allegheny Admissions Office has created a series of pages of information for Chinese students. You can find the new pages here.

The new site features links to our academic programs, our support services for Chinese and other international students, and a profile of a current Chinese student at Allegheny.

Skype Interview Dates Now Available

The International Admissions Office will be offering Skype interviews to all interested international students, starting in early January. We would love to learn more about your unusual combinations of interests, skills, and talents– and to answer your questions about Allegheny!

International Dinner 2011

We have uploaded some terrific photos of our recent International Dinner, sponsored by Allegheny’s own International Club. The evening featured cultural performances as well as traditional costumes from around the world– not to mention some delicious international cuisine! International Education Week 2011

The Allegheny community is gearing up for International Education Week 2011. This year’s week-long celebration includes events such as an international photo contest, an informational fair about Allegheny’s vast opportunities for international travel, and a special lecture by Peacework’s Stephen Darr. The week concludes on Sunday, with our vastly popular International Dinner, sponsored by Allegheny’s International Club.

New Semester Activities

Our new academic year is in full swing, and we are proud to welcome so many new international students into the Allegheny community. While classes have only been in session for a few weeks, our international students have already been able to participate in a wide variety of activities—including international orientation, the Crawford County Fair, our Mid-Autumn Festival party, and our Oktoberfest celebrations.

Allegheny still has a few select spots open in the incoming class, and so we have extended our application deadline for international students to June 15. We are very interested in considering you for admission as well as our distinct international student scholarships. We all wish to congratulate the international students who have been accepted into Allegheny’s Class of 2015. As many of you know, the year 2015 marks the 200th year of Allegheny’s history. We hope to welcome all of you into our campus family this fall!

Application Deadline Extension- April 1

Due to overwhelming interest and the continued availability of international student scholarships, the Office of Admissions has decided to extend the application deadline to April 1 for international students.

You can begin your application today at: to be considered for admission and scholarships. Any of your supporting materials, such as test scores and recommendations, may arrive after April 1.
