Access to Sakai was restored this morning at approximately 9:10am following investigation by staff at Longsight and on campus. Sakai is currently running as expected and issues with access or usability should be reported to the InfoDesk for investigation.

We are currently working with Sakai’s off-campus provider to investigate reports of login errors. We will provide an update shortly.

On January 3, 2017 Allegheny Sakai will be updated to the newest version, Sakai 11. In addition to changes to the overall look and feel, Sakai 11 also includes updates to many core tools. Some highlights include a mobile friendly responsive design, a new, easy to use Gradebook tool, significant updates to the Lessons tool, and enhancements to many of Sakai’s most commonly used tools. There will be several opportunities for faculty and staff to preview Sakai 11 prior to the beginning of the Spring semester. Please click here to register for a preview session.

Sakai will be down for routine maintenance on Wednesday, November 2 and will be unavailable between 5:00 – 5:15 am. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The maintenance performed on Sakai was successfully completed within scheduled window of time need by Longsight.
