Summer Technology Workshops

Allegheny’s instructional technologists will be leading several workshops for faculty during the month of August. Topics include Sakai, online tests and quizzes, online gradebooks, Google Docs and Drive, clickers, working with streaming multimedia, and library tools to help you to keep up to date with current research. All workshops will be held in Murray 117. Coffee will be provided in the morning. Lunch will be provided at 11:45 for both morning and afternoon participants. Sorry, we can only accommodate 10 registrants per session. Please contact an instructional technologist if you have any questions.

Problems accessing files in ShareStream

ShareStream was updated over the weekend and since that time some users have had trouble accessing audio and video files stored on the system. Access to those files can be restored by clearing your web-browser’s cache. Here is a tutorial that explains how to clear the cache on the most common web-browsers:’s-Cache
