e2campus alert opt-out

This is just a reminder that folks not previously subscribed to the e2campus alert tool will receive an email message letting them know they’ve been subscribed via email only.  This is a legitimate email but can be deleted or disregarded.  Subscription requires no action on your part.

Colleague Server Move Successful

The move to a new Colleague server (referenced last week on My Allegheny) was a success this weekend. Thanks to everyone involved in ITS and in the testing group for their hard work this year to prepare for and execute a successful migration. Please report any observed issues with Colleague, WebAdvisor or Informer to ITS.

Network Switch Maintenance in Murray Hall

The network switch in Murray Hall will have scheduled maintenance early in the morning of  Thursday April 23, 2015.  It is expected that the work should go largely unnoticed by the college community as it will be will be conducted outside the traditional work day.

Should you find that your network connection is not functioning as expected please contact the ITS Help Desk by phone or by creating a ticket using Web Help Desk.

Schedule Maintenance: Colleague, WebAdvisor, and Informer (8/7/14)

In order to resolve some ongoing issues, the admin service will be shutdown and restarted at noon on Thursday, August 7. It will be available again by 1:00pm. This will affect Colleague, WebAdvisor and Informer.

Print Server Upgrade

IT Services will be performing an update to the Papercut Print server this Sunday, July 13th. During this time users will not be able to print to Papercut connected printers (Toshibas, Lexmarks). Local print options will continue to be available (e.g. desktop HP’s).

New printer drivers will be rolled out to each computer, which may cause a slight delay on first print after the upgrade. Users experiencing difficulty should contact the help desk x2755.
