Virus Protection Server Update Scheduled

ITS will upgrade the virus protection server to the latest version on Friday, July 15th at noon. Following the upgrade clients should reboot their computer, this can be done at your earliest convenience.  Questions can be directed to the ITS Help Desk at x2755.

EMS/Scheduler Server Upgrade

Update: The update was completed within the window.  If you are having troubles logging in to scheduler.allegheny.edu or EMS, please contact the ITS Help Desk.

Original Post: EMS/Scheduler will be offline from 1:30pm – 3:30pm on Tuesday June 28, 2016 for scheduled maintenance.  When complete the newest version of EMS will be available for the campus community to schedule rooms and locations on campus at http://scheduler.allegheny.edu.

e2campus alert opt-out

This is just a reminder that folks not previously subscribed to the e2campus alert tool will receive an email message letting them know they’ve been subscribed via email only.  This is a legitimate email but can be deleted or disregarded.  Subscription requires no action on your part.

Colleague Server Move Successful

The move to a new Colleague server (referenced last week on My Allegheny) was a success this weekend. Thanks to everyone involved in ITS and in the testing group for their hard work this year to prepare for and execute a successful migration. Please report any observed issues with Colleague, WebAdvisor or Informer to ITS.

Network Switch Maintenance in Murray Hall

The network switch in Murray Hall will have scheduled maintenance early in the morning of  Thursday April 23, 2015.  It is expected that the work should go largely unnoticed by the college community as it will be will be conducted outside the traditional work day.
