All members of the Allegheny community have a username and password that provides access to one’s network storage folder, email, Sakai sites, share calendars and documents in Google Apps, and other networked services.
Students are provided their Allegheny usernames at the point of deposit.
Employees are provided their usernames by their immediate supervisor or department chairperson.
Your password is used to check email, connect to your network account, log on to your desktop computer and access the other network services available at the college. The default password should be changed at the earliest opportunity.
Allegheny passwords must be changed every six months to keep the account active. Inactive accounts will be deleted after six months of inactivity.
As of September 1, 2016, new employee accounts are created with Google 2-Step verification enforced.
