  1. Reserved study carrels (popularly known as “comp cubes”) are available to any comping student wanting a place to collect and store materials needed for the completion of their senior comprehensive. Reserved carrels may be requested for a maximum of two consecutive semesters.
  2. Books are checked out to seniors for a full semester (excluding EZ-Borrow books*) and can be renewed for another semester. You may keep your checked-out books in your assigned cubicle.
(*EZ-Borrow books circulate for 28 days and can be renewed for another 28.)
  3. Students are responsible for all books checked out to them. A periodic check should be made by you to make sure all books checked out and put in your cubicle by you are there. We can provide a list of books you have checked out.
  4. Each day a check will be made to see if any books that are in the cubicle have not been checked out. When books are not checked out, they show up as “available” in the library catalog and are expected to be on the shelves. For that reason, books that are in your cubicle and are not checked out, are subject to being returned to the shelves.
  5. All books must be returned by the Friday before commencement or sooner, if possible.
  6. No reference books or periodicals may be kept in cubicles.
  7. Books checked out to you and any personal items placed in your cubicle are your responsibility; this includes purchased textbooks.
  8. Please respect the need for quiet that individuals in nearby carrels expect in the library.
  9. All contents will be discarded the Monday after Commencement.
