Your Four-Year Journey

Students often combine Classical Studies with a major in Art, English, History, or Philosophy.

First-year students interested in Classical Studies examine the historical world of the Greeks and Romans.

In the second year, students begin to investigate more distinctive aspects of ancient life, such as ancient Greek philosophy or mythology.

Ancient orality, literature, and writing are investigated in the third and fourth years.

Advanced studies in orality, literature, and writing are offered. These courses are integrated into the Senior Comp of your chosen major.
