Deadlines for My Allegheny

Here are a few things to remember about My Allegheny:

  • Items for MyAllegheny must be submitted by 4 pm to be posted to MyAllegheny the following day. In the summer, items must be submitted by 3 pm.
  • Items are not posted on Saturday or Sunday except for Safety Alerts.
  • Items to be posted on Monday must be received by 4 p.m. the previous Friday.
  • Submissions may be edited for length and clarity; please note that submitting an item does not guarantee that it will be published.
  • Submissions are automatically removed after an event has passed.
  • Due to the volume of postings, we receive, we cannot re-post items.
  • MyAllegheny only accepts items for college-sponsored events.
  • Academic events are also listed in the calendar box to the right of the postings to give them greater visibility and so that you can quickly see lectures, concerts, gallery shows, and other events related to our lives as scholars.
