The Christian season of Lent begins with an Ash Wednesday service Wednesday, Feb. 10 at 4:30 p.m. in Ford Chapel. The service includes the ancient practice of being marked with ashes as a sign of repentance and mortality. Chaplain Jane Ellen Nickell offers a reflection entitled, “Where Do We Begin?” with Catholic Campus Minister Fr. Jeff Lucas and Prof. Elizabeth Weiss Ozorak helping to lead the service.
