If you are a faculty member working on any kind of writing this semester, Write-on-Site may be for you. Writing together in one place can cultivate the sense that we are part of a community of writers and help create that energy buzz that comes from being around others who are doing the same thing. We write together for two hours once a week with the time/day TBD by what the majority of people have available; it is possible that two groups can run if there is enough interest. The time commitment is for focused writing–the group does not provide feedback though participants are welcome to pursue that possibility outside the writing time. All are welcome–join us weekly or drop in when it works best. Associate Provost Terry Bensel supports the group as an avenue for faculty development and his office will post final details for all to see on the Faculty Resources website.
