In support of the 7th Annual Energy Challenge, the Outing Club invites you to experience a night hike by the light of the last quarter moon. Meet in Brooks Circle at 8 p.m. tonight (Friday, Oct. 21). We’ll walk to Robertson, hike wooded trails and stargaze. The Energy Challenge calls on the entire Allegheny community to reduce electricity consumption by 10% from Oct. 7 to Nov. 4. Turn off lights and electronics, unplug computers and chargers, and get creative about developing a less energy-dependent lifestyle. All dollars saved will be invested in sustainability features chosen by the student body, like the solar panels and filtered water refill stations installed in previous years.
