Please note the correct dates for the International & Intercultural Perspectives (IP) Faculty Learning Circle sponsored by the Office for Diversity & Inclusion, in conjunction with the Provost’s Office, are as follows:
Six Learning Circle sessions will take place from 12:20 to 1:20 p.m. on Wednesdays through February and March 2017. These dates are: February 8, February 15, February 22, March 8, March 15, and March 29 with a culminating workshop on Saturday, April 1 (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) that involves the group producing specific teaching resources and activities with an IIP focus. Interested faculty across divisions, and other educators interested in pedagogical approaches, must commit to attending and actively participating in all the sessions and the workshop.
Please complete the brief IIP Learning Circle Application by 5 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2016. You will be notified of your acceptance no later than Thursday, December 1, 2016. Please direct questions to Ishita Sinha Roy at iroy@allegheny.edu.
