Thank you for your patience as we reschedule this very important training conducted by agents from the Training & Crisis Response Unit of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. This session, scheduled for Wednesday, December 14, (Study Day) from 2 to 4:30 p.m. in the Tillotson Room of the Tippie Alumni Center, will focus on preparing faculty and staff to address an active-shooter incident, and will include the “Run, Hide, Fight” video. The discussion will include updates on active shooter and the protocol for responding to an incident. We will discuss and learn about how other events were handled across the country, including this week’s incident at Ohio State University, as well as two from Western Pennsylvania–the Franklin Regional High School and Monroeville Mall events.
