In order to continue exemption from the Meadville Local Services Tax, you must file at the beginning of each calendar year, as your 2016 exemption will not apply in 2017. To do so, complete the Local Services Tax Exemption Certificate and return the form to the Payroll Office, Bentley Hall 215, prior to the first payroll in January. Until a 2017 form is completed and returned to the Payroll Office, the tax will be deducted from your 2017 paychecks. For questions, please call the Payroll Office at 332-4792.
