Bystander training, using the nationally acclaimed model, “Bringing in the Bystander,” will be offered on campus this semester. “Bringing in the Bystander” teaches participants how to safely intervene in instances where sexual violence, relationship violence, or stalking may be occurring or where there may be risk that it will occur. The program is also applicable more widely in that it will help community members actively confront and challenge all forms of harassment and discrimination. Facilitated by Women’s Services, Inc., training sessions will be offered on Monday evenings from 6 to 7:30 p.m. To register to attend the training on February 6, February 13, February 20, or February 27 or for more information, please contact Gilly Ford, Title IX coordinator, at email@example.com or (814) 332-3085.
