There will be an Allegheny College Contra Dance on Saturday, February 25, at 7:30 in the Wise Center. Contra is danced to live music provided by TOPPISH–- a local Irish dance band. Contra is community dancing, something like square dancing, Scottish dancing, and Irish ceili dancing all rolled into one. Students and community members are invited. Adults are $10, students are free! Families are most welcome. Court shoes, dance shoes or sock feet are required. Sorry, no street shoes. Come on out and shake a leg!!
