This post has been archived. Information below may be out of date and/or relate to a past event.

On Tuesday, May 2, Allegheny College will hold the first annual Celebration Day. The purpose of this day is to highlight creative student work from the past year. The day’s events will include panels showcasing student projects and experiences, presentations of senior projects, a poster symposium, and the Honors Convocation. Have you recently completed an interesting, creative project or experience? Would you like to share it with the community? If so, we encourage you to apply to present your work at the Student Spotlight Session. Any student or group of students is invited to submit an idea for this session as long as it is NOT connected with the senior project. Examples of projects or experiences could include research conducted through independent studies or internships, projects with Meadville partners, projects in conjunction with a Gateway office or other Allegheny program, etc. If selected to present, you (and your collaborators) would hold a panel session to discuss your work with the Allegheny community. This Celebration Day event will be held on May 2, from 10 to 11 a.m. If you are interested, please fill out this Google form no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, April 21. The URSCA office will select approximately six projects to highlight during the session. Once selected, our office will be in touch with more information and support for your panel. If you have any questions, please contact Professor Aimee Knupsky, Director of URSCA, at aknupsky@allegheny.edu.
