The Chapel Congregation welcomes guest speaker and Allegheny mom Rev. Sandra McClain for the Chapel Service on Sunday, October 22, at 11 a.m. in Ford Chapel. Rev. McClain serves as program manager for RISE with Pennsylvania Women Work, a statewide organization dedicated to empowering women through job readiness, emotional growth, education, training, and employment. She has also worked in Professional Development Services at Carnegie Mellon University and has served as pastor to United Methodist congregations in Western Pennsylvania. Her sermon topic is “Faith Through the Eyes of Compassion.” A brunch is scheduled prior to the service at 10 a.m. in the Tippie Alumni Center.
