Meadville VITA Recruiting Students

The Meadville Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program is recruiting students to participate as tax preparers for community residents. This program is offered through Econ 501 for the Spring semester, Students will receive training in completing income taxes and then complete five to six hours per week during the semester assisting low- to middle-income residents of western Crawford County with preparing their federal, state, and local tax returns. Participation in this program is worth four internship credits through completion of Econ 501, teaches an important skill, looks great on a resume, and creates positive interactions with the community.
