The Global Citizen Scholars Program will host Maitham Basha-Agha’s public presentation on Wednesday, December 6, at 7 p.m. in the Pelletier Collaboratory. Basha-Agha is an Iraqi-American freelance photojournalist. He has recently worked for the Erie Reader and National Public Radio Marketplace in Erie, Pennsylvania. Basha-Agha began his photojournalism career without prior experience in 2014 covering the Anti-ISIS protest in Southern Iraq and the Syrian refugees in Northern Iraq.
