The Allegheny College Jazz Band will be taking a School Tour on Monday, December 4. This Outreach Program, from the Music Department at Allegheny College, will focus on promoting music education in our local school districts, encouraging student involvement in their respective school’s music programs, and showcasing the talents of the 21 member AC Jazz Band, under the direction of Stephen F. Corsi. The tour will include performances at Conneaut Lake Elementary School and Conneaut Valley Elementary School. Tour music repertoire includes, “Route 66,” “The Way You Look Tonight,” “Groovin’ Hard,” “Spinning Wheel,” “The Chicken,” “How Deep is the Ocean,” “The Way We Were,” “Oleo,” “Cheesecake,” “I Dreamed a Dream,” and “Big Swing Face.”
