Soprano Sara St. Peter To Present Senior Voice Recital

April 21, 2014 — Sara St. Peter, soprano, will present a senior voice recital on Saturday, April 26 at 1 p.m. in Ford Chapel at Allegheny College. She will perform a variety of arias and art songs by Haydn, Massenet, Saint-Saëns, Bach, Grieg and Mozart.

Joining her in duets will be Allegheny students Andrew Daigle, tenor; Breana Gallagher, soprano; and John Knobel, baritone.

St. Peter, who studies voice with Vicki Jamison, is a member of the Chamber Singers, Chamber Choir, College Choir and Women’s Ensemble at Allegheny. She also sings in the church choir of First Presbyterian Church in Meadville.

A Distinguished Alden Scholar at Allegheny College, St. Peter also is one of 10 recipients of this year’s Cornerstone Awards, which recognize contributions to the college community. She is the president of the Allegheny chapter of Psi Chi, the psychology honor society. In addition, she was the only student to serve on Governor Corbett’s Commission on Higher Education.
