Tony Dipre

Growing up with a sibling who suffers from a neurological disorder, Anthony was determined to someday contribute to brain research. He also discovered a personal interest in religion after taking a few classes. “I’ve learned about how best to tackle issues of faith and how to apply religion to various areas such as ecology, politics, and especially science, and it’s fascinating to see how religion can tie to so many things.”

Zach Piso

A philosophy and environmental studies double major, Zach Piso chose each for different reasons. “I majored in philosophy because it helps cultivate our abilities to discuss and write about challenging themes. I now have an articulated awareness of my surroundings and of social and global issues.” As for environmental studies, Zach says the subject was more of a passion. “I’ve had a built-in obligation to nature and the outdoors from a young age,” he explains.
