INTST 110 — NEW Course for Fall 2017 (4/21)

New:

A new course, International Studies 110, Introduction to International Studies, has added to the Fall 2017 schedule. Co-taught by Professors Laura Reeck and Brian Miller, this course will be offered MWF 11:00-11:50 am.

The course is described as “Introduction to concepts and frameworks used in the analysis of international phenomena. Specific topics may include: historical interpretation, geography and demographics, anthropology and intercultural relations, political systems, and economics and international development. The course aims to increase the ability of students to integrate disciplinary subject matter. The cross-cultural perspective of the course provides students with the necessary foundation to specialize in a regional focus within the International Studies Program.
