BIO 082 — NEW Course for Fall 2017 (4/27)

New:

A new course, Biology 082, Insects and Humans, has added to the Fall 2017 schedule. Taught by Professor Rankin, this course will be offered MWF 11:00 – 11:50 am with a lab W 1:30-4:20 pm.

The course is described as “A study of the basic biology of insects, with an emphasis on the interrelationships between insects and humans. These interrelationships include the beneficial roles of insects in agriculture, their negative impact as pests and disease vectors, and ways in which insect populations and activities can be controlled. One laboratory per week.”
