ACRoSS 2008

The first ACRoSS meetings took place during the summer of 2008. Faculty and students from eight departments and programs (Biology, BioChemistry, Chemistry, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Neuroscience, Physics, and Psychology) presented their research projects to an audience of faculty, students, and administrators. Feedback from participants indicated that the seminar series was a huge success and is something we should continue in the future. The students did an outstanding job presenting their research projects and this forum gave them experience presenting to a general audience. The presentations often initiated lively discussions and enabled the audience to hear about the research that is taking place on the Allegheny College campus.
