Your group is going to take on a lot this year! Some things will go well, and some won’t; that’s all part of the process. When your organization as a whole or individual members achieve milestones or do good work, remember to take the time to reward that, whether it’s treating your members to a pizza party or pulling aside someone to thank them for their hard work (remember, some people love public thanks, and some would rather be thanked in private!), celebrate what your group has done. It creates a sense of well-being and accomplishment that will go far in promoting further hard work in the future.
