Outing Club

Description: The Outing Club offers trips every weekend to do activities such as hike, camp, canoe, climb, cross-country ski, ice skate, snowshoe, paintball, and more. We provide the transportation, food, and gear– you provide the fun!

Purpose: The Outing Club is committed to providing, safe, educational, and challenging adventures to all members of the Allegheny College community regardless of experience or skill level. Through a core group of leaders, we are committed to sharing our enthusiasm and passion for the outdoors by teaching the skills required to safely and respectfully explore the delicate wonders of nature. We will see you in the woods!

Meetings: Monday 8:00 pm, Carr Hall 239 (Weekly); Our meetings are used primarily for a select group of Trip Leaders to plan upcoming events. If you have questions about the club, upcoming events, or are interested in being a Trip Leader, email outing@allegheny.edu. We also have open meetings twice a semester where we invite all trip participants to come and share photos and stories from their adventures.
