Description: Kappa Alpha Theta is the first Greek letter fraternity for women founded in 1870. Kappa Alpha Theta’s national philanthropy is Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). The local CASA office in Crawford County is supported by Kappa Alpha Theta’s annual philanthropy fundraiser. Members are involved in many other organizations on campus and have held the highest scholarship for 15 out of the last 17 semesters among the sororities.
Purpose: The purpose of Kappa Alpha Theta is to support members to learn, grow, and excel, and our core values are personal excellence, friendship/sisterhood, scholarship, service, and leadership.
