Purpose: We are Allegheny College’s alternative literacy publication. Founded in April 2008, Overkill publishes issues each semester distributed in unexpected places around campus. Examples: in vending machines, on a statue’s lap or in the mouth of the gator. Though it has had many faces over the years, Overkill has consistently developed a design and attitude unlike anything the college has ever encountered, stirring up humor, deep thought and controversy with the written and artistic talents of the Allegheny student body. No word limits. No censorship. Overkill seeks to represent students’ freedom of speech and expression in its purest form.
Meeting Time: Thursday 9:00 pm, Campus Center 318
