JaDE (Jazz and Dance Ensemble)

Purpose: JaDE is a student-run dance group which performs in contemporary and jazz styles linked with the Dance and Movement Studies Department at Allegheny. We run weekly practices, focusing heavily on strong technique, throughout the academic year, and also host and participate in a number of events around campus and the Meadville community, like the Cookies and Milk Concert, Halloween Parade, and JaDE Benefit Concert. Our philanthropy is the Crawford County Special Olympics. We spend the greater part of the Spring Semester fundraising and creating a performance, the JaDE Benefit Concert, from which all proceeds go to the Crawford County Special Olympics.

Meeting Time: Wednesday 9:00 pm – 11:00 pm,  Montgomery
