Purpose: USITT Allegheny is a chapter of the United States Institute of Theatre Technology which is a national technical theatre organization. This chapter provides the support and opportunities for students wanting to grow and pursue a career in technical theatre. The chapter provides workshops throughout the year to help with professional development. We also participate in the regional and national conference each year which helps our chapter members build connections and skills that could lead to job and internship opportunities after college.
