Relay for Life

Description: Relay For Life is the primary worldwide fundraising for the American Cancer Society. The Relay For Life committee at Allegheny works to create and sustain a campus community that is dedicated to making the pledge to fight back against cancer. Throughout the year we work with organizations to form teams for the event in the spring, plan the Relay event for April, provide educational tools, and fundraise for the ACS.

Purpose: The purpose of Relay for Life is to work to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society. We try to make the campus aware of different cancer prevention techniques, and fundraise for the American Cancer Society all year long. Our major event, Relay for Life, is planned throughout the whole year and is held at the end of the spring semester.
