Relay for Life

Description: Relay For Life is the primary worldwide fundraising for the American Cancer Society. The Relay For Life committee at Allegheny works to create and sustain a campus community that is dedicated to making the pledge to fight back against cancer. Throughout the year members work with organizations to form teams for the event in the spring, plan the Relay event for April, provide educational tools, and fundraise for the ACS.

Purpose: The purpose of Relay for Life is to work to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society. Organization members aim to educate the campus on different cancer prevention techniques and to fundraise for the American Cancer Society throughout the year.
