During the interview process, we’re able to learn more about the student’s academic standing, interests, goals and overall college search process. This information is helpful in determining whether Allegheny would be a “good fit” for the student.
Many students want to learn about Allegheny through the first-hand experiences of our alumni. Oftentimes, this helps them to better picture themselves as an actual Allegheny student. Alumni are best equipped to discuss the value of an Allegheny education and how their collegiate experiences have served to further their goals.
In addition, students that live a distance from campus often request to meet with an alumni representative in their area before scheduling an actual campus visit. These opportunities allow students to learn more about life at Allegheny without traveling too far.
