You will have an evolving advising team during the time you are at Allegheny.

Starting the summer before you begin classes, you will begin working with your “Exploratory Advisor”. Your “Exploratory Advisor” will assist you in navigating your first college years and continue with you until you declare a major.

You will then have a “major advisor” who will advise you from declaration to graduation

Finally, you will have a “Senior Project advisor” who will work with you on your Senior Comprehensive Project, usually in your senior year.
Along the way you will benefit from great relationships with other faculty and staff who also offer advice — your instructors, coaches, Class Deans, staff from the Maytum Center for Student Success, and an array of other offices are here to support you.
