Meadville Area Soup Kitchen
Stone Church hosts the community’s “soup kitchen” that provides wholesome meals to many in need five days per week. Their services are essential for community members who would not get the food that they need without participating in this hot meal program.
Creating Landscapes for Families Community Garden

The family community garden is intended to be a time of hands on active learning, critical thinking, planning, and problem solving. Later in life, the experiences the children have had at the garden may be instrumental in helping them choose practices that support better personal health and a more sustainable ecosystem. This garden is also connected to the Creating Landscapes program, which builds strong community connections through family time spent gardening.
Project O.N.E
Project O.N.E. is an evolving community collaboration dedicated to meeting the nutritional needs of residents in the greater Meadville area by bringing partner organizations together under one umbrella and providing information about the availability and benefits of local foods.
Center for Family Services
CFS houses a food pantry that is supplied by Second Harvest in Erie, PA. Second Harvest distributes donated food that is nutritious but unsalable due to packaging errors to food pantries across western Pennsylvania.
