Bicentennial Logo

The Bicentennial logo was designed for use in the celebration of the College’s 200th year in 2015. The logo will remain an important graphic that represents this historical milestone and Allegheny’s legacy; however, it will no longer be used regularly in College communications unless an exception is deemed appropriate by the Office of College Relations.

Printed Materials

Materials already printed and in-hand that include the Bicentennial logo may continue to be used for as long as existing supplies last — but only until December 2019. Any reorders or new orders should be revised to remove the Bicentennial logo and replace it with the vertical College logo. After December 2019, all materials with the Bicentennial logo should be recycled.

Letterhead and Envelopes

Any letterhead and envelopes should remain a matching set: both letters and envelopes should have the SAME image on them. If you run out of Bicentennial letterhead but still have Bicentennial envelopes left, replace both supplies using the regular College logo and recycle the leftover envelopes. Do not mismatch these materials.

Digital Sources

Instances of the Bicentennial logo should be removed from digital sources such as websites, PowerPoint presentations, digital templates of handouts, etc., immediately upon update and replaced with the vertical College logo. College departments and offices should develop a plan to remove any instances of the Bicentennial logo from digital sources; all such instances should be removed by December 2019.
