Alumnus Richard Taaffe from West Hawaii Community Health Center (WHCHC) Campus Visit

Alumnus Richard Taaffe ’72, President/CEO of the West Hawaii Community Health Center, is visiting campus to recruit juniors for Community Health Internships with WHCHC on the Big Island of Hawaii during summer 2018. Students will contribute to the operations of WHCHC while pursuing their interests as they relate to community building, organizational management, population health, integrated health and disease management, health care delivery systems, finance, public health for diverse populations. These are paid positions and housing will be provided. Students can apply for funding to help with flight costs. Apply by Monday, October 30 for an on-campus interview on Monday, November 6. Richard Taaffe will also attend a lunch for all students interested in community health-related work. Students should RSVP as space is limited to the first 30 responses. Business casual dress is required.
